FAMILY PARTY IN THE KINDERGARTEN IN KOLONOWSKIE

In the Public Kindergarten No 1 in Kolonowskie on 7th June took place the annual “Family Party” organized once again. In the afternoon in the pre-school garden appeared large inflatable equipment: slide, ship and hovercraft to jump. Arrived also animators: clown and his companion with DJ.

All children were invited with their parents. The event started at 4 p.m. and lasted almost to 7 p.m. Guests were treated to coffee and delicious cake. For children were prepared various delicacies and drinks.

Clown lured children by games and songs, during which treated them to sweets and lollipops. Then children’s faces were painted according to their wishes. Despite this, the inflatable equipment, on which children had wonderful time, were the most successful. The playground was also available for children and it was a centre of attention as well.

Family party has become a kind of tradition in our kindergarten. It is time for mom, dad and children, who together can spend nice afternoon.

PICNIC IN “STARY MŁYN” (“OLD MILL”)

On 16th June a picnic in “Stary Młyn” at Mr and Mrs Drzymałła took place. 40 wards of social clubs from Staniszcze Małe, Fosowskie and Kolonowskie took part in the event. Participants arrived to the farm of Mr and Mrs Drzymałła on bicycles, the younger went in cars with couriers.

In place, many attractions were waiting for them, among others: game of football, badminton, frisbee, canoeing, tug of war. Everyone could also see closely the animals living there: for example horses, fallow deers or play with the puppy. The culmination of the whole event was, of course, barbecue that was impatiently awaited by everyone. Sausages, fresh buns and delicious tea with honey disappeared immediately.

The event was a success and all participants back home safely.

PENSIONERS IN JURAPARK

“You praise someone else’s, you do not know what you have !” this Old Polish proverb was confirmed on 15th June , when 29 members of Local Group PZERiI in Kolonowskie at 3 p.m. met at the entrance to JuraPark in Krasiejów.

Hygienically and healthily – the majority of the members, irrespective of age, arrived on bicycles, the more that the weather favored to do so.

We started from the cinema of emotions – Cinema 5D – that was it ! From the five-dimension image, motor, tactile and aromatic experiences, adrenaline rose. Fortunately, there were no unpleasant consequences, that was proven by burning cheeks and smiles on faces after the completion of the projection.

Later was the Time Tunnel – a multimedia tour of “time capsule” through the history of our planet from the “Big Bang” to the Triassic period. This ride was an evident proof that pensioners did not stand in place, but they are still receptive of knowledge.

In the Paleontological Pavilion we were admiring the fossils of reptiles and amphibians. Some of us could not get over the surprise that they live so close, but about such miracles had no idea.

A walk of 1,5 km educational path also added many impressions. It is nothing that knee snapped, hip hurt. In confrontation with that what was seen along the way, it was of no importance.

A walk was slowly coming to an end. We stopped at a small catering. Each of the participants after intellectual and visual feast could satisfy their taste needs.

LOCAL AUTHORITIES FLOWED DOWN FROM ZAWADZKIE TO STANISZCZE MAŁE
On Saturday, 25th June, already as a tradition, took place a canoeing organized by the Association of Municipalities “Dolna Mała Panew”. This year’s flow, however, differed from previous ones, and it is for two reasons. Firstly, the route was longer than usual, and secondly – it rained only fleetingly ;)

In the canoeing participated nearly 130 people from the area of 8 municipalities: Chrząstowice, Dobrodzień, Dobrzeń Wielki, Kolonowskie, Łubniany, Ozimek, Turawa and Zębowice. Canoeists set off from Świerkla in Zawadzkie. After 3 hours and reaching Kolonowskie there was waiting for them a break for meal : familiar pea soup and grilled sausages.

After drying (of course, only in few cases), almost 80 canoeists continued canoeing until Staniszcze Małe. There, local authorities had the opportunity to participate in local celebrations of Midsummer’s eve.

RIDE A BICYCLE WITH A GUIDE, THAT IS HOW TO BIKE IN CZECH-STYLE :)

On 25th June took place next theoretical lessons within the framework of training for the guides of cycling tourism of Mała Panew Valley. The course was organized as one of the project activities called “The development of cycling tracks in the Region Hranicko and Mała Panew Valley – Kolonowskie Commune”. It is co-financed by the Operational Programme of Cross-border Cooperation the Czech Republic – the Republic of Poland 2007 – 2013, in the framework of Objective 3 , Micro-Project Fund  in the Euroregion Pradziad.

This time the future guides had the opportunity to use the experience of our Czech partners of the project. This is because the lecture was given by Ms Michaela Skrobankowa – the person responsible for the organization of cycling traffic in the Region Hranicko and at the same time experienced cyclist.

The first part of the lecture was dedicated to cycling track Becva, that is – in Czech – Cyklostezca Bečva. The route is 141 km long  and leads from the sources of a river up to its mouth. The whole route is paved and in the most part intended only for cycling traffic. Interesting is the fact that parts of the cycling track in the winter turn into routes for doing cross-country skiing.

The second part of the lecture Ms Skrobankowa dedicated to ways of working with a group in the case of cyclists – so how to attract visitors, what features should have a good cycling guide and how to ensure the safety of the group.

Students undoubtedly benefited from the opportunity to watch so-called “good practices” and – we hope so – will use the Czech experience on our land in the future :)

MIDSUMMER’S EVE (KUPAŁA’S NIGHT) IN STANISZCZE MAŁE…

On 25th June, admittedly two days after the actual, but it is most true, was held Midsummer’s eve (Kupała’s Night) in Staniszcze Małe. Everything was right and proper: fire, river and wreaths with candles, dropped on water by girls in love (or not ?...).

Like every event organized in Staniszcze Małe, also that attracted crowds. There was a lot of attractions for all who were waiting for them: inflatable castle, trampoline and competitions for the youngest, small catering for those a little older and rich artistic program. And all of this in the beautiful circumstances of nature :)

On the stage appeared as the first members of Dance Groups: Figiel and Figielek, and right after them Amateur Theatrical Circle from Staniszcze Małe with hilarious sketch about  - not necessarily in conformity with the law – disposal of solid impurities. St John’s evening was made pleasant by the Belarusian Folk Song Group from Koźliki called “Reczanka” and another local cabaret. The event ended with dance lasting for a long time past midnight…
