PARTENRSHIP VISIT AND PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
On 12-13 October inhabitants of Kolonowskie Commune visited Bělotin – a partnership locality in the Czech Republic. A group of sixteen people consisting of village administrator’s offices, associations and non-governmental organizations representatives and teachers had a possibility to visit Jesenik nad Odrou – the winner of this year’s title of Village of the Year 2013 and Hynčice – a place of birth of Gregor Mendel – the founder of the new science of genetics. Program of this trip also included visit in Hranice, Teplice nad Bečvou and the castle in Stary Jičin.
However, the aim of this visit was conversation about the possibility of cooperation between schools using funds from the Comenius Programme and establishing contacts between groups of seniors from the area of both partnership localities.
